Staff Nurse Grade 2

Role & responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to critically ill patients in the ICU.
• Continuously monitor patients' vital signs and clinical condition.
• Administer medications, IV fluids, and blood products as prescribed.
• Operate and monitor critical care equipment, including ventilators, cardiac monitors, and infusion pumps.
• Assist physicians during emergency procedures and resuscitation (Code Blue).
• Prepare the operation theatre for surgical procedures by ensuring equipment and instruments are sterile and ready.
• Assist surgeons, anesthetists, and the surgical team before, during, and after operations.
• Maintain aseptic techniques and infection prevention standards throughout surgical procedures.
• Perform instrument, sponge, and needle counts before and after surgery.
• Monitor patient safety and comfort during perioperative care.

Preferred candidate profile

GNM/ BSC Nursing with 2-6 Years Experience
