Solution Architect

Key Accountabilities

Solution Design & Delivery

• Manage hardware and software solutions end to end from planning to execution and delivery.

• Review, validate, and verify BOQs/Bills of Materials against defined technical and commercial specifications.

• Perform solution sizing, infrastructure design, and component-level architecture review.

• Optimize BOQs to ensure cost-effectiveness while meeting technical requirements.

Technical Expertise

• Conduct compatibility checks across multiple OEM devices and platforms.

• Ensure solutions adhere to telecom architecture principles and industry best practices.

• Maintain in-depth understanding of licensing models, cloud technologies, warranties, and support structures.

• Prepare accurate technical documentation, solution diagrams, and detailed commercial proposals.

Project Governance & Compliance

• Ensure solution compliance with project scope, quality standards, cost boundaries, and delivery timelines.

• Handle RFP-related technical and bid queries with high precision.

• Support internal teams with technical clarifications and solution justification.

Coordination & Stakeholder Management

• Coordinate with OEMs for discussions, technical validations, negotiations, and support.

• Maintain strong communication with internal stakeholders, vendors, and cross-functional teams.

• Manage vendor relationships to ensure timely and high quality deliverables.

Mandatory Skills

• Strong expertise in Hardware Solutioning and BOQ/BOM preparation & validation.

• BOQ optimization and cost engineering.

• OEM device compatibility checks.

• Solid understanding of Telecom solutions and architecture.

• Strong knowledge of Cloud technologies and software licensing frameworks.

Desirable Skills

• Exposure to enterprise IT hardware (servers, storage, networking).

• Understanding of virtualization, containerization, or cloud-native components.

• Proficiency in preparing solution documentation and customer-facing presentations.

Qualifications & Experience

• 4 to 6 years of relevant experience in solution engineering or hardware software planning roles.

• B.Tech in Computer Science or a related technical field
