SEW-EURODRIVE INDIA was set up as a Private Limited Company in 1997. The first plant assembling geared motors was set up in Vadodara, Gujarat and started operations in the year 2000. We now have three modern assembly plants in Vadodara, Chennai and Pune with a combined area of 16,000 square meters, assembling geared motors, frequency inverters and industrial gearboxes. We have a wide network of sales and service offices in 34 cities across India.
World-wide, SEW-EURODRIVE employs more than 16,000 people and has presence in 51 countries. In addition, we have 15 manufacturing production facilities and 79 Drive Technology Centers supporting customers with a global portfolio of power transmission products and services. This network of locations allows us to think globally but service locally.
