Roles & Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test strategies, test plans, test cases, and test scenarios based on product and system requirements.
• Develop, maintain, and execute automated test frameworks and scripts using Python, Shell, PowerShell, or similar technologies.
• Perform system-level testing of Edge Box systems, IoT Edge devices, industrial automation products, and embedded platforms.
• Validate Docker-based applications, including Docker image creation, containerization, deployment, configuration, and functional testing.
• Perform protocol testing and validation for industrial communication protocols such as Modbus and OPC UA.
• Work with PLC devices, Harmony P6 Box, or similar industrial hardware platforms for system and integration testing.
• Execute end-to-end hardware and software integration testing across multiple test environments.
• Set up, configure, and maintain test labs, hardware devices, test environments, and required test infrastructure.
• Perform Smoke, Functional, Regression, Functional UI (FUI), Non-Functional Requirement (NFR), Load, and Performance Testing.
• Validate system performance, reliability, scalability, stability, and overall product quality.
• Perform SSL/TLS certificate management, security validation, and software license validation testing.
• Identify, log, track, and manage defects using relevant test management and defect-tracking tools.
• Perform root cause analysis (RCA), debugging, and troubleshooting of complex software, hardware, firmware, and system-level issues.
• Collaborate closely with development, firmware, hardware, DevOps, and cross-functional teams to ensure timely issue resolution.
• Integrate automated test suites with CI/CD pipelines and support continuous testing practices.
• Prepare and maintain test reports, test execution results, defect reports, quality metrics, and test documentation.
• Participate in requirement reviews and identify test risks, gaps, dependencies, and quality concerns.
• Improve test automation frameworks, testing processes, tools, methodologies, and overall test coverage.
• Support Agile development practices and contribute to timely, high-quality product releases.
