Overview

• We are seeking a talented Sr.Software Development Engineer in Test to lead the design and test automationstrategy for your SCRUM team to validate application functionality andperformance based on refined acceptance criteria, using methodologies, tools,strategies, and standards based on best practices in Agile software testing andcontinuous integration and deployment.
• Play a pivotal role on the Agileteam in the continuous validation of web applications, system to systeminterfaces and complete software solutions
• Design and develop test automationscenarios to validate system to system interfaces and complete softwaresolutions (for API and UI tests)
• Interact with business anddevelopment stakeholders to define test plans and schedules
• Translate complex system requirementsand specs into test requirements and testing methods
• Identify and implement complexautomation efforts, including refactoring of automation code where needed
• Work closely with software engineersto build quality in, ensuring proper test and requirement coverage,configuration quality, monitoring, early performance testing
• Generate test data for defined testcases, recognize test environment preparation needs, and execute existing testplans and report results
• Participate in project-levelreviews, walkthroughs and inspections, and conduct test reviews, including testplans, requirements, cases and automation coverage
• Document performance test strategiesand test plans, and execute performance validation
• Collect quality metric data and communicatetest status/risks to stakeholders
• Work closely with developers toidentify code defects or regressions
• Closely adhere to quality standardsand assist team members in validating application functionality through theimplementation of test strategies, frameworks, tools, reports, etc.
• Assist in planning and documentingtest strategies and acceptance criteria based on customer needs
• Participate in requirements review,story elaborations and testing activities
• Design, code, and construct automationtests; escalate issues during testing
• Provide automation tests foroperations teams to use in Ci/Cd automated quality gates
• Perform Exploratory testing asrequired
• Raise process improvementopportunities
• Act as first-review for project-levelreviews, walkthroughs and inspections
• Provide technical support andmentoring to junior team members
• Perform demos of new productfunctionality to stakeholders

• Experienced in advanced codedevelopment, code review, and construction and use of automation frameworks
• Experienced in building automationframeworks as well as acceptance and integration test automation scripts
• Successfully developed high qualitytest strategies and text execution
• Analyzed application logs andutilized basic debugging techniques
• Successfully validated one or moreapplications via automation, for new feature functionality and regressiontesting
• Experienced in Agile testingmethodologies and tools, unit and integration testing, and data virtualizationtools
• Basic understanding of validationtechniques and Continuous Testing
• Familiarity with UI automationframeworks, tools, and techniques to validate user interfaces (mobile, portal,web, etc.)
• Able to mentor peers and guide lessexperienced Team members
