Senior Resident Obstetrics & Gynaecology

• As a Senior Resident in Obstetrics & Gynaecology, you will be responsible for providing advanced medical care to female patients in the areas of obstetrics, gynaecology, and reproductive health
• This role involves a combination of clinical duties, patient care, and supervision of junior medical staff and trainees

Key Responsibilities:

• Patient Care:Conduct thorough examinations of female patients, including antenatal and postnatal assessments
• Diagnose and manage various obstetric and gynaecological conditions
• Perform and assist in surgeries related to obstetrics and gynaecology
• Monitor and manage the care of high-risk pregnancies
• Clinical Duties:Stay updated on advancements in obstetrics and gynaecology through continuous education
• Participate in departmental meetings, case presentations, and research activities
• Collaborate with other medical professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care
• Supervision and Training:Supervise and provide guidance to junior medical staff, interns, and medical students
• Participate in the training and orientation of new medical personnel
• Contribute to the academic and educational activities of the department
• Documentation:Maintain accurate and complete medical records for all patients under your care
• Ensure timely and proper documentation of procedures, consultations, and treatment plans
• Patient Education:Educate patients and their families on health maintenance, preventive measures, and treatment options
• Provide counseling on family planning, childbirth, and postpartum care
• Emergency Response:Respond to obstetric and gynaecological emergencies promptly and effectively
• Collaborate with the emergency medical team for urgent interventions
