Job Description
As a Senior Guidance Counselor, your main responsibility is to manage a team of Registered Guidance Counselors to ensure quality delivery of counseling services through the Mind You platform. As team lead, you will be responsible for ensuring that the Guidance Counselors are able to provide at-standard guidance and counseling sessions; that the team adheres to company protocols and policies; and that feedback and recommendations from various stakeholders are utilized to innovate and further develop the counseling services. Duties and Responsibilities
Conducting Counseling Sessions
- Promptly conducts assigned counseling sessions
- Ensures that sessions are conducted in a private area with stable internet connection
- Follows guidelines and protocols set by the company in conducting sessions
Session Documentation
- Tagging session status on the same day of the session
- Produces In Session Forms within a week of the session; if escalated to pharmacological intervention, then within the same day
- Uploading of No Show Form on the same day as no show session
Active Communication
- Informs immediate supervisor of any issues related to sessions; such as but not limited to, scheduling conflicts, difficult or problematic interactions with users, or technical issues in delivering sessions
- Able to communicate to immediate supervisor whether or not tasks assigned to them are within their competency
Self-Care
- Good recognition of burnout
- Has a life out of work
- Able to use leaves appropriately
Financial Performance
- Ensures the attainment of targets for gross margin and profitability of the business unit
- Reviews and monitors regularly operational business plans, reviews results and margin versus budgets/targets addressing areas for improvement by using current action plans.
Planning and Monitoring
- Develops, submits for approval annual plans and programs, targets and /or budgets, directs their implementation and monitors progress to ensure attainment in accordance with Corporate direction.
- Ensures that all operational activities are aligned with the agreed plans and programs and reflected in the individual and group KPIs as a basis for monitoring progress of operational and individual performance.
Infrastructure Development and Review
- Directs the development, installation and constant review and updating of relevant sales systems, processes, corresponding infrastructures and policies that will enable the efficient, effective and timely delivery of sales and revenue
People Management
- Trains and oversees the Guidance Counselors department in being able to maintain end user and counseling interactions according to the required SOPs
- Defines work expectations and ensures work progress of the department staff by monitoring/controlling activities, evaluating performance, enforcing discipline when necessary, and initiating career enhancement activities/programs especially designed for the staff s career development
Reportorial Requirements
- Regularly reports to Management on the status of expected deliverables and explains deviations from expected outputs
- Elevates to Management all concerns and problems that need higher level intervention
- Performs other tasks that are related, supplementary or complementary to their function.

Education and Experience
- MA in Guidance Counseling
- Professional Regulatory Commission License in Guidance Counseling
- At least 2 years of counseling or therapeutic work or internship experience
