Job Description
Purpose of the Role:
Responsible for logistics feasibility, PEPE mapping, kitting and line-side logistics planning, logistics facility layout and material flow mapping, logistics simulation, installation and commissioning of logistics systems, project closures, driving IoT / digital logistics initiatives, and supporting Manufacturing and Quality for continuous improvement.
Job Responsibility:
Strategic Planning & Feasibility: -
-Logistics strategic planning to achieve short- and long-term manufacturing and cost objectives.
-Project planning and execution for logistics readiness aligned with TCF manufacturing.
-Study engineering releases and conclude on logistics DFM/DFA requirements (packaging, part orientation, handling).
Process Planning & Layout Engineering: -
-Process planning & optimization for inbound, internal and line-side logistics flows.
-Understanding and application of logistics simulation for material flow, space and manpower optimization.
-Understanding of TCF production requirements from logistics, kitting and line-side feeding perspective.
-PEPE mapping for logistics operations including material movement, storage and feeding activities.
-Logistics equipment and system scope finalization (racks, trolleys, AGVs, conveyors, kitting systems).
Installation, Commissioning & Tryouts: -
-Monitoring of installation & commissioning of logistics facilities and line-side setups.
-Process tryouts, monitoring, issue tracking and closure for logistics and material flow systems.
-Understanding of integration issues between production, logistics, warehouse and suppliers and closure with CFT.
Engineering Change Management & Compliance: -
-m-PAP completion from logistics readiness, packaging and material flow compliance perspective.
-Engineering change management for manufacturing readiness impacting logistics, kitting and line-side supply.
Process Documentation & Digitalization: - -
Preparation of logistics process sheets, PFMEAs and digitization of logistics and material flow documents.
-Drive TCF-specific IoT / digital initiatives related to logistics traceability and real-time material tracking.
Continuous Improvement: -
-Cost-reduction-focused idea implementation in logistics, packaging, handling and inventory reduction.
-Kaizen and continuous improvement initiatives in logistics efficiency, safety and line-side discipline.

Education: BE Full Time
Relevant Experience: 4-10 years, with exposure to global OEMs
Skills & Competencies:
Functional/Technical
1. Manufacturing logistics for TCF including line-side and kitting operations.
2. PEPE mapping and material flow design.
3. SAP / ERP / WMS exposure. 4. CATIA / DELMIA / AUTOCAD for layout & logistics planning.
5. Logistics simulation tools and layout optimization (added advantage)
6. Benchmarking / KAIZEN / TPM, PFMEA / Problem Solving Techniques, management reporting.
