Job Description

Role & responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end consulting engagements involving strategy, business transformation, operational improvement, digital transformation, cost optimization, and organizational effectiveness.
  • Develop structured hypotheses, conduct market/competitor research, analyze complex business data, and translate insights into actionable recommendations.
  • Manage senior client stakeholders and act as a trusted advisor to CXOs and business leaders.
  • Own project delivery, including scope, timelines, quality, risks, budgets, and client communication.
  • Lead and mentor consulting teams of analysts, consultants, and managers, ensuring high-quality deliverables.
  • Develop business cases, financial models, operating models, transformation roadmaps, and implementation plans.
  • Identify new business opportunities, contribute to proposals and RFPs, and support account growth and client acquisition.
  • Present findings and recommendations to senior management through compelling executive presentations and data-driven storytelling.
  • Drive implementation of recommendations and track measurable business outcomes and value realization.
  • Contribute to internal knowledge development, thought leadership, methodologies, and best practices.

Preferred candidate profile

  • 8 to 13 years of relevant experience in management consulting, strategy consulting, business transformation, corporate strategy, or a closely related role.
  • Strong track record of independently managing large, complex consulting engagements and delivering measurable client impact.
  • Proven experience working with CXOs, senior executives, and cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Strong strategic thinking, structured problem-solving, analytical, and quantitative skills.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and stakeholder-management capabilities.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead, coach, and develop high-performing consulting teams.
  • Strong commercial orientation with experience in business development, proposals, client relationship management, and account growth.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint; familiarity with Power BI/Tableau, SQL, analytics, or other digital/AI tools is an advantage.
  • MBA/PGDM from a reputed institution preferred; bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Economics, Finance, Statistics, or a related discipline.
  • Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, ambiguous, and client-facing environment, with willingness to travel as required.
  • Candidates from leading consulting firms or with experience across strategy, transformation, operations, technology, or industry-specific consulting will be preferred.
