Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Senior Database Developer with 10+ years of expertise

• Designing, developing, optimizing, and maintaining large-scale database systems using MySQL and PostgreSQL.
• The ideal candidate should have strong experience in database architecture
• performance tuning, query optimization, data modeling, replication, high availability, Multi Tenancy, RLS
• cloud-based database solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable database architectures for enterprise applications.
• Create and maintain database schemas, tables, indexes, views, functions, stored procedures, and triggers.
• Optimize complex SQL queries and improve database performance.
• Analyze and troubleshoot database bottlenecks and capable of handling production issues within SLA.
• Implement database security, backup, recovery, and disaster recovery strategies.
• Design and maintain database replication and high-availability solutions.
• Work closely with application development teams to optimize data access patterns.
• Perform database migrations and version upgrades.
• Monitor database health, capacity planning, and resource utilization.
• Develop ETL processes and data integration solutions.
• Partitioning, Pruning, Tuning during the production long running jobs.
• Writing complex queries to cater to Business reports.
• Understanding of semantic layer and Graph databases
• Good understanding on structured, unstructured, and semi structured storage.
• Entity relationship digrams and Knowledge base maintenance.
• Ensure data integrity, consistency, and compliance with security standards.
• Participate in architecture discussions and technical design reviews.
• Mentor junior developers and database engineers.
• Good understanding of AI, RAG and ML, LLM, Multi tenancy and RLS
