Job Description
The Senior Database Developer will be responsible for leading the design, implementation, and maintenance of complex database solutions. They will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and develop efficient and scalable database architectures.
Qualifications:
- Extensive expertise in database development, with a strong focus on SQL and database design principles
- Proven experience in leading database development projects and mentoring junior developers
- In-depth knowledge of database administration tools, backup and recovery processes, and database security measures
- Proficiency in optimizing queries, creating advanced stored procedures, and implementing effective indexing strategies
- Experience with various database technologies, including but not limited to MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, or SQL Server
- Familiarity with cloud-based database solutions, such as Amazon RDS or Azure SQL Database
- Strong programming skills in languages like Python, Java, or similar
- Bachelor s degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to addressing database-related challenges
