Role Overview
Coforge is seeking a highly skilled GCP DevOps Engineer with strong expertise in Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Python, CI/CD, Infrastructure Automation, and Cloud Operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for building, automating, and managing scalable cloud infrastructure while ensuring reliability, security, and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and manage cloud infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Cloud Build.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning using Terraform and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles.
- Develop automation scripts and tools using Python.
- Manage containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes (GKE).
- Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting using Cloud Monitoring, Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, etc.
- Collaborate with development teams to streamline deployment and release processes.
- Ensure cloud security, compliance, and best practices.
- Troubleshoot production issues and optimize cloud infrastructure performance.
- Support high availability, disaster recovery, and backup strategies.
