Senior / Lead Buyer ICT Nigeria OR Vadodara

We are looking for a seasoned professional for the role of Senior / Lead Buyer ICT (Information & Communication Technology Procurement), to be based in Vadodara , supporting multi-million-dollar projects and plant operations.

This is a strategic role responsible for managing end-to-end procurement of critical ICT infrastructure and systems that support large industrial and project environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead procurement of ICT-related materials and services including:
• Software licensing and enterprise applications
• IT hardware (servers, storage systems, laptops, desktops)
• Cybersecurity solutions (firewalls, network security systems)
• Network infrastructure (LAN/WAN, routers, switches, cabling)
• Communication systems (radios, walkie-talkies, etc.)
• Manage vendor sourcing, techno-commercial evaluation, and contract finalization
• Drive commercial negotiations, including pricing, payment terms, delivery schedules, and contractual conditions
• Work closely with project, IT, and engineering teams to ensure timely procurement aligned with project timelines
• Ensure compliance with procurement policies, quality standards, and project requirements

Ideal Candidate Profile:

• 10–20 years of experience in procurement, with strong specialization in ICT category buying
• Proven experience in handling large-scale procurement for infrastructure, industrial, or EPC/project environments
• Deep understanding of IT systems, network infrastructure, and cybersecurity procurement
• Strong commercial acumen with demonstrated negotiation and vendor management skills
• Ability to manage global vendors and complex procurement cycles
