Job Description: (3 - 5 years of experience)

Automation Test Engineer with a strong background in REST Assured automation and Appium automation to join our QA team. The ideal candidate should have at least 3 years of experience in software testing, with a focus on test automation, and possess a deep understanding of REST APIs and mobile application testing using Appium.

Responsibilities:

• Develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts using REST Assured for API testing and Appium for mobile application testing.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define test scenarios, create test cases, and ensure comprehensive test coverage.
• Design and implement robust automation frameworks to support continuous integration and delivery processes.
• Perform manual testing as needed, including exploratory testing, regression testing, and smoke testing.
• Analyze test results, identify defects, and work closely with developers to ensure timely resolution.
• Participate in Agile development processes, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospective meetings.
• Contribute to improving QA processes and best practices within the organization.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in software testing, with a focus on test automation.
• Strong proficiency in REST Assured for API automation and Appium for mobile automation.
• Experience with test automation frameworks such as TestNG, JUnit, or similar.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or similar.
• Solid understanding of software testing methodologies, tools, and techniques.
• Experience working in Agile development environments.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Hands on SQL and Debugging skills
• Hands on Unix commands and console debugging
