SCM - Mechanical

Job Description :

• Floating of RFQ for procurement of customized mechanical parts / COTS / service.
• Responsible for Injection molding tool development, tool rework, Jigs & fixture development, etc.
• Coordination with CTF team for the closure of quality observations reported by IQC on incoming materials and raise the Deviation request Form
• Addressing quality issues reported by QC along with engineering team and vendor, issue resolution, defect analysis review and report sharing with vendor
• Identification and development of new vendors / suppliers.
• Experience of working in medical domain / Miniature components development / NPD New product development is preferred.
• Forecast demand based on production plans. Maintain optimal inventory levels (raw materials, WIP, finished goods). Align material availability with the production schedule
• Able to handle quality audits w.r.t. ISO 13485 and documentation requirements.
• Vendor auditing and reporting.
• Follow up of vendors and Internal stake holders for quick receipt & quality clearance of material.
• Able to handle queries raised by vendors and engineering team.
• Costing for new orderings - Online costing & RFQ floating.
• Alternate part identification on need basis.
• Procurement BOM update on daily basis to capture material ordering and receipt status.
• Exposure to process involved in import of material is preferred.
• Track and update all import shipments- From Pick up at vendor place TO delivery at HCL
