Job Description
SCM Executive (EV Charger Components Procurement)
Manage end-to-end procurement for EV charger components across electrical, electronic, mechanical, semiconductor, and passive categories.
Source and onboard reliable suppliers for semiconductor devices (MOSFETs, IGBTs, diodes), passive components (inductors, capacitors, resistors), PCBs, power modules, contactors, connectors, cables, sensors, relays, and mechanical enclosures.
Float RFQs/RFPs and perform detailed technical commercial evaluation of supplier quotations.
Negotiate pricing, MOQs, lead times, and payment terms to achieve cost and delivery targets.
Ensure timely material availability for design validation, prototyping, pilot builds, and mass production.
Coordinate closely with R&D, Engineering, Production, Quality, Planning, and Finance teams for specifications, approvals, forecasts, and PO processing.
Align with stores and logistics teams for warehouse planning, shipment tracking, and material handling.
Monitor inventory levels and execute material requirement planning to prevent shortages or excess stock.
Track purchase orders, supplier commitments, and follow up for on-time deliveries.
Evaluate vendor performance based on quality, delivery, cost, and responsiveness.
Maintain procurement records, contracts, and compliance with industry standards.
Support alternate sourcing, cost-reduction initiatives, and supply chain risk mitigation strategies.
