SCM Executive

Role & responsibilities

• Coordinate material movement for Solar EPC projects from planning to site receipt.
• Create PRs, process GRNs and maintain ERP transactions.
• Coordinate with Procurement, Projects, Stores, Logistics, Vendors and Finance teams.
• Track deliveries, shipments and resolve supply chain issues.
• Visit project sites to verify storage readiness, unloading arrangements and inventory controls.
• Provide dispatch clearance to suppliers after site readiness confirmation.
• Monitor inventory, material consumption and inter-site transfers.
• Coordinate vendor invoices and payment follow-ups with Finance.
• Maintain delivery trackers, inventory reports and SCM dashboards.
• Ensure material availability as per project schedules and monitor supplier delivery performance.

Skill Set Required:

• Knowledge of SCM, logistics, inventory management and material planning.
• Understanding of Solar EPC materials such as Modules, Inverters, Structures, Cables and Transformers.
• ERP proficiency and strong MS Excel skills.
• Good coordination, communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Understanding of GRN processes, inventory transactions and stores operations.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Any other specific requirement:

• Diploma / B.Tech / B.E. in Electrical, Mechanical, Civil or related discipline preferred.
• 25 years of experience in Solar EPC, Electrical EPC, Renewable Energy or Manufacturing.
• Willingness to travel frequently to project sites.
• Experience in project material coordination, site inventory management and logistics execution preferred.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-project environment.
