Nippon Life India Asset Management Limited (NAM India) is the asset manager behind Nippon India Mutual Fund (NIMF). It was originally incorporated on February 24, 1995, as Reliance Capital Asset Management Limited, later rebranded in stages—Reliance Nippon Life AMC in 2016 and eventually Nippon India Mutual Fund (AMC) in 2019 following Nippon Life Insurance’s acquisition of majority stake (72.25%).

NAM India is promoted by Nippon Life Insurance Company, Japan’s largest private life insurer. Nippon Life holds a controlling interest in the AMC, leveraging its global research and ESG framework to support its India operations.

 

NAM India manages a broad suite of investment products including:
