Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Release Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in release management, with a proven track record of successfully managing software releases in a fast-paced environment. This role requires a strategic thinker who can coordinate across multiple teams to ensure timely and efficient delivery of software products.

Responsibilities:

• Plan, schedule, and manage software releases across various environments.
• Coordinate with development, QA, and operations teams to ensure smooth release processes.
• Develop and maintain release management processes and best practices.
• Monitor and report on release progress, risks, and issues to stakeholders.
• Facilitate release planning meetings and ensure all teams are aligned on release goals.
• Implement and manage release automation tools and processes.
• Ensure compliance with quality standards and regulatory requirements.
• Continuously improve release processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
• Act as a point of contact for all release-related inquiries and issues.

Mandatory Skills:

• Proven experience in release management, specifically in a software development environment.
• Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies.
• Experience with release management tools and automation.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience working with travel industry software.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools.
• Knowledge of ITIL framework and best practices.
• Experience in managing cross-functional teams.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 10-15 years of experience in release management or related roles.

Relevant certifications in project management or release management (e.g., PMP, Scrum Master, etc.) are a plus.
