READER

The Reader in the Department of Public Health Dentistry will be responsible for teaching, research, and clinical supervision of students in the department. The role involves planning, implementing, and evaluating academic programs, conducting research in the field of public health dentistry, and providing clinical supervision to students.

Responsibilities:

• Developing, delivering, and evaluating courses in public health dentistry at the undergraduate and postgraduate level
• Providing clinical supervision and guidance to students
• Conducting research in the field of public health dentistry, publishing research articles, and presenting at conferences
• Contributing to the development and delivery of continuing education programs for dental professionals
• Participating in departmental meetings, committees, and activities
• Collaborating with other departments and institutions to promote research and education in public health dentistry
• Participating in community outreach programs and initiatives related to public health dentistry
• Maintaining and updating knowledge of developments and trends in the field of public health dentistry

Eligible Fields

• Masters degree in Public Health Dentistry or related field
• Minimum 4 years of teaching and research experience in a recognized dental college/institution
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues, students, and external partners
• Demonstrated research productivity, including publications in peer-reviewed journals and conference presentations
