READER

The Department of Pharmacology at JKKN College of Dental and Hospital is seeking an experienced and qualified Reader to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching, research, and service in the field of Pharmacology.

Responsibilities:

• Developing and delivering high-quality lectures, seminars, and laboratory sessions for undergraduate and postgraduate students.
• Conducting research in Pharmacology and related areas, with a focus on contributing to the academic and research goals of the department and the college.
• Publishing research findings in national and international peer-reviewed journals and presenting at academic conferences.
• Mentoring and advising students on academic and research matters, and supervising graduate research projects.
• Participating in departmental and institutional committees, and contributing to the overall academic and research mission of the college.
• Building partnerships with other academic and research institutions, and collaborating with industry partners to promote research and innovation in Pharmacology.

Qualifications:

• post graduate degree (M.D.S)in Pharmacology or equivalent qualification
• Have 4 year teaching experience at the undergraduate and postgraduate level.
• Published research work in national and international journals.
• Demonstrated expertise in a particular area of Pharmacology.
• Evidence of successful supervision of research students and laboratory staff.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Active involvement in academic and professional organizations related to Pharmacology.
• Knowledge of current trends and advancements in the field of Pharmacology.
