READER

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to join our team as a Reader in the Department of Periodontics. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting teaching, research and administrative activities in the department.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and deliver lectures, practical sessions and assessments in the field of periodontics and implantology to undergraduate and postgraduate students.
• Supervise postgraduate research projects and dissertations.
• Conduct original research in the field of periodontics and implantology, with a focus on publishing in high-quality academic journals and presenting at relevant conferences.
• Participate in departmental meetings, committees, and activities, including contributing to the development and review of curricula and course materials.
• Engage in continuous professional development to maintain and enhance expertise in the field.
• Provide clinical supervision and guidance to students in the department s clinics, as appropriate.
• Assist with administrative duties as required by the department.

Qualifications:

• MDS (Master of Dental Surgery) degree in periodontics or equivalent in the field of periodontics.
• A minimum 4 experience as a practicing periodontist, including experience in teaching and research.
• A track record of publications in high-quality academic journals and presentations at relevant conferences.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
