READER

The Reader in the Department of Prosthodontics will be responsible for facilitating the colleges vision and mission by providing high-quality education and training to students. The Reader will work closely with the department faculty to develop and deliver teaching materials, conduct lectures, and provide guidance to students. The ideal candidate should have a strong commitment to excellence in teaching and a passion for advancing the field of prosthodontics.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and deliver lectures and teaching materials on prosthodontics to students
• Provide guidance and support to students in the department, including advising and mentoring
• Conduct research and publish findings in professional journals
• Participate in departmental meetings, events, and other activities as needed
• Collaborate with other faculty members to develop new teaching materials and strategies
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge in the field of prosthodontics by attending conferences, workshops, and other professional development opportunities
• Support the departments goals and objectives by contributing to various committees and initiatives

Qualifications:

• A Master of Dental Surgery (MDS) degree in Prosthodontics or equivalent
• Minimum of 4 years of teaching experience in Prosthodontics at the undergraduate and/or postgraduate level
• Experience in teaching at the undergraduate and/or postgraduate level
• Demonstrated ability to conduct research and publish findings in professional journals
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
