Job Description R&D Scientist
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform research and development activities in accordance with approved project plans and requirements.
- Develop, optimize and validate analytical and technical methods to support product development and process improvement.
- Design and conduct experiments, analyze and interpret data accurately and draw scientifically sound conclusions.
- Prepare, review and maintain technical documentation, including protocols, reports and development records.
- Ensure full compliance with applicable Quality Management Systems (QMS), including ISO 13485 requirements.
- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams such as Quality Assurance, Production and Regulatory Affairs to support project objectives.
- Support technology transfer, troubleshooting activities and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance process efficiency and product quality.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Minimum Master’s degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Analytical Chemistry, or a related scientific discipline. PhD will be considered an added advantage.
- 3–5 years of relevant R&D experience with proven hands-on expertise in LC-MS/MS and HPLC instrumentation.
- Experience in handling biological matrices such as blood, plasma and serum will be an added advantage.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving and technical documentation skills.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented and cross-functional environment.
