About Us
Urban One, Inc., formerly Radio One, Inc., is the largest African-American owned and operated media corporation in the United States. It owns and/or operates 54 broadcast stations, including those branded as Reach Media, across 14 urban markets. Through its controlling interest in TV One, LLC, Urban One owns and operates the TV One cable/satellite network, providing programming for African-American audiences. Urban One also owns CLEO TV, a wholly-owned cable network focusing on lifestyle and entertainment for Millennial and Gen X women of color. Additionally, Urban One owns Reach Media, Inc., which creates radio programming, digital content, and syndicated shows such as the Rickey Smiley Morning Show and the Russ Parr Morning Show. Beyond radio and cable, Urban One's digital businesses include One Solution, a multi-platform sales organization, and iOne Digital, a platform offering social content, news, information, and entertainment for the African-American community. iOne Digital's portfolio includes digital brands such as Bossip, MadameNoire, HipHopWired, and CassiusLife.com.
