Job Details

• Job Role: Quality Engineer SDET
• Experience: 8+ Years
• Work Mode: Remote
• Employment Type: Full-Time

Experience Required

• 8+ years of overall experience in Quality Engineering / SDET / Test Automation
• Strong hands-on experience in test automation frameworks
• Strong SQL skills with complex queries, joins, and data validation
• Hands-on experience with Python or PowerShell
• Experience in database and backend testing
• Hands-on cloud testing experience with any 2 of AWS, Azure, or GCP
• Strong preference for candidates with both AWS and Azure experience
• Experience in UI, API, integration, regression, and end-to-end testing
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and Agile/Scrum methodologies

Key ResponsibilitiesTest Automation & Quality Engineering

• Design, develop, and maintain robust automation frameworks for UI, API, and data validation testing
• Create automated test scripts for functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing
• Analyze test results, identify root causes, and collaborate with development teams to resolve defects
• Ensure high test coverage, fail-fast validation, and audit-ready reporting

Data & Backend Validation

• Write and execute complex SQL queries to validate backend data integrity, transformations, and reporting outputs
• Perform data reconciliation between source systems, cloud data stores, and downstream applications
• Automate data-driven testing and backend validations

Python & Automation Development

• Develop automation utilities, reusable libraries, and test frameworks using Python
• Implement validation logic for APIs, databases, and message queues
• Maintain clean, reusable, and well-documented automation code
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines

Cloud Testing

• Validate applications deployed on Microsoft Azure and AWS
• Test cloud-native components such as:
• Azure App Services
• Azure Functions
• Azure SQL
• Azure Blob Storage
• AWS EC2
• AWS Lambda
• AWS S3
• AWS SQS
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies including planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives
• Work closely with Developers, DevOps, Product Owners, and Cloud teams
• Provide quality metrics, test reports, and risk assessments to stakeholders
