Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Python Automation Engineer with 5+ years of experience to design, develop, and scale our cloud infrastructure automation frameworks. In this role, you will eliminate manual processes by writing robust Python code, building CI/CD pipelines, and orchestrating complex cloud workflows. You will work closely with DevOps, Security, and Engineering teams to ensure our cloud solutions are scalable, self-healing, and cost-effective.
Key Responsibilities
  • Develop Automation Frameworks: Design and maintain scalable, reusable Python automation libraries and API integrations.
  • Cloud Orchestration: Automate cloud provisioning, governance, and resource management using Python SDKs (like Boto3 for AWS).
  • CI/CD Integration: Build, optimize, and maintain automated deployment pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI.
  • Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Integrate Python scripting with tools like Terraform or Ansible to deploy multi-cloud infrastructure.
  • System Monitoring: Build automated workflows to track cloud resource utilization, performance metrics, and cost anomalies.
  • Issue Resolution: Perform root-cause analysis on pipeline failures, infrastructure bottlenecks, and cloud environment errors.
  • Team Mentorship: Provide technical guidance, conduct code reviews, and advocate for scripting best practices within the team.
Required Technical Skills
  • Python Mastery: 5+ years of deep, professional hands-on experience writing clean, modular Python code.
  • Cloud Expertise: Strong proficiency with at least one major cloud vendor platformAWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
  • Testing Frameworks: Expert-level knowledge of pytest, unittest, or similar test-driven Python environments.
  • CI/CD Platforms: Strong hands-on experience managing enterprise build-and-release automation via Jenkins or GitHub.
  • Linux Mastery: Advanced comfort with Linux/Unix environments, including core shell scripting (bash).
  • API Development: Extensive experience interacting with and building RESTful APIs, JSON payloads, and microservices.
  • Version Control: Superior command of Git workflows, branching strategies, and repository pull requests.
