Python Automation Engineer

Position: Python Automation Test Engineer
Experience: 7-10 Years
Location: Bangalore

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automation frameworks using Python.
• Create and execute automated test scripts for web, API, and backend applications.
• Perform API testing using tools such as Postman and Rest Assured.
• Develop robust test automation solutions following industry best practices.
• Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and QA teams to ensure product quality.
• Participate in CI/CD implementation and automation integration.
• Analyze test results, identify defects, and drive issue resolution.

Required Skills

• 7-10 years of experience in Software Testing and Test Automation.
• Strong programming experience in Python.
• Hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver and automation framework development.
• Experience in BDD Cucumber framework.
• Strong knowledge of API Automation Testing and REST services.
• Experience with Postman, Rest Assured, or similar API testing tools.
• Knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts.
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins.
• Version control knowledge using Git/Bitbucket.
• Strong debugging and analytical skills.

Good to Have

• Experience in BFSI domain.
• Exposure to Playwright automation.
• Knowledge of Cloud platforms (AWS/Azure).
• Basic understanding of GenAI/Copilot/OpenAI concepts.

Qualification

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
