Educational Qualification

• Diploma or Degree in DIFAT or equivalent qualification in Fermentation Technology, Alcohol Technology, Chemical Engineering, or a related discipline.

Job Summary

The Process Manager will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing the end-to-end production process of the 300 KLPD grain-based ethanol plant. The role involves ensuring safe, efficient, and cost-effective operations while maintaining product quality, regulatory compliance, and process excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day plant process operations to achieve production targets.
• Monitor and optimize fermentation, distillation, evaporation, dehydration, and allied process parameters.
• Ensure efficient utilization of raw materials, utilities, chemicals, and manpower.
• Coordinate with production, quality, maintenance, and utility teams to ensure uninterrupted plant operations.
• Analyze process data and implement improvements to enhance yield, productivity, and energy efficiency.
• Maintain compliance with statutory requirements, SOPs, GMP, environmental norms, and safety standards.
• Troubleshoot process issues and implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Lead process improvement initiatives to minimize losses and reduce operational costs.
• Supervise and train shift engineers, operators, and technical staff.
• Prepare and review daily production reports, MIS, and operational performance metrics.
• Support commissioning, expansion, and debottlenecking projects as required.
• Ensure adherence to EHS policies and promote a strong safety culture across the plant.

Experience
