1. Purpose
The Principal Program Manager - Sustainability Within and Beyond the Fence is a critical leadership role responsible for driving sustainability initiatives both within the organization and beyond its boundaries. This position adds unique value by ensuring the integration of sustainability principles into every aspect of the company's operations, fostering a culture of sustainability, and enhancing the organization's reputation as a responsible corporate citizen.
2. Role Description
In order of priority, the Principal Program Manager - Sustainability Within and Beyond the Fence will be responsible for the following:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive sustainability strategy that covers internal operations and external stakeholder engagement.
- Oversee sustainability-related initiatives, projects, and programs within the organization.
- Build and maintain relationships with external stakeholders, including communities, NGOs, government bodies, and industry associations.
- Monitor and report on key sustainability performance metrics and trends.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate sustainability into product development, supply chain, and procurement processes.
- Lead sustainability communication efforts, including reporting, disclosures, and stakeholder engagement.
- Ensure compliance with sustainability reporting standards and regulations.
- Identify and assess emerging sustainability risks and opportunities.
- Develop and execute sustainability training and awareness programs for employees.
- Stay updated on global sustainability best practices and industry trends.
3. Managing Points (KRA) and Unit Of Measurement and Review Frequency

Review Frequency:
- Quarterly and as needed for specific sustainability activities.
4. Authority
The Principal Program Manager - Sustainability Within and Beyond the Fence has the authority to:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive sustainability strategy.
- Oversee sustainability initiatives and programs.
- Build and maintain relationships with external stakeholders.
- Monitor and report on sustainability performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on sustainability integration.

5. Requirements

- Master's degree in Sustainability, Environmental Science, Business, or a related field.
- Extensive experience in sustainability leadership roles.
