Job Title / Role: System Engineer - Engine Development (Development Manager)
Department: R&D
Section: Super premium-R&D-PWT>11kW
Location: Hosur
Education Qualification: Post graduation - Mechnical/Automobile engg.
Problem solving skills, Motorcycle riding certifications
Required Experience: 12-14 yrs experience in engine development and testing
Purpose of the Role:
Responsible for complete vehicle and powertrain development and testing.
Lead the engine development activities to achieve the performance, durability, sub system and system functional development by self and lead team of junior engineers
Role Description
  • 1) Plan & Execute DV and resolve problems arising from DV
  • 2) Achieve AQ, MBQ parameters in TQT & develop solutions for customer requirements
  • 3) Trigger d and drive design team for the solution implementation
  • 4) Lead team of engineers for development & testing
  • 5) Conduct benchmark studies & application of learnings in product
  • 6) Engine calibration exposure and hardware finalization
  • 7) On road driveability, track testing to understand the customer problems or requirements
  • 8) Dealing with supplier & develop technology or feature for the new engine
