It's been a long journey for Premium Chick Feeds Pvt. Ltd. to be what it is today. It goes back to the year 1991, when the company was founded by 3 Directors namely Dr. Girish Kolwankar, Mr. Neil Dalgado and Dr Shyam Dhawan. The Company started as a Feed Manufacturing firm with a first year turnover of Rs. 1.2 crores. It diversified with forward integration into contract broiler farming.. It has since grown to have its operations in Maharashtra, Andhra Pradesh, West Bengal, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Assam, Orissa, Telangana and Uttar Pradesh. The company has created its name in the market for consistently supplying quality products and has achieved a turnover of Rs. 2000 crores as of date.PCF enjoys reputation of brand image in the poultry feed market for its good and consistent feed quality. It has loyal customers who wouldn't switch to competing brands. Premium Hatchery Pvt. Limited, was started during the year 1995, with the setting up of a breeding farm next to Kamshet, Dist Pune, Maharashtra and the hatchery in Kolghar, near Poynad. With the setting up of these facilities, the company started selling Day Old Broiler Chicks to poultry farmers. In the year 2017-2018 the company set up a brand new automatic hatchery in Andhra Pradesh and acquired a fully automatic hatchery in Maharashtra. Integrated Poultry farming was started by the company, during the year 2000, with branches across the state of Maharashtra. The company has since spread its operations in other parts of India and has branches in Andhra Pradesh, West Bengal, Tamil Nadu, Assam, Orissa Telangana, Uttar Pradesh.The Company is also in the business of Feed Sales to Individual Open farmers. The company maintains its reputation for its quality in the feed it sells. Some of the key products are Poultry Pellet Feed for Broiler birds, (Starter and Finisher). Broiler 50% Concentrate and Broiler 10% Concentrate.To meet its growing requirement of hatching eggs, the company started its own breeding farm at Lonand Maharashtra and acquired a facility in V.Kota of Andhra Pradesh, during the year 2010-2011. The Company has recently added a state of the art fully automaticn EC Parent Farm in Andhra Pradesh With a capacity of 1.10 lakh females.Today PCF has both owned and contract, Breeding facilities across the sates of Maharashtra, Karnataka, and Andhra Pradesh
