Job Description
Job Purpose: To lead the design and development of high-efficiency power electronics systems for EV 2W, including motor drives, DC-DC converters, and onboard chargers, focusing on performance, thermal management, and cost.rnr":"
- Lead the design, simulation, and development of power electronics systems (Motor Inverters, DCDC Converters, OBC).
- Specify and select power components (IGBTs, MOSFETs, Gate Drivers, Inductors, Capacitors).
- Perform topology selection, magnetics design, and loss/temperature analysis for power stages.
- Oversee the PCB layout for high-power, high-frequency circuits, focusing on thermal management and EMC performance.
- Define and execute validation test plans for power electronics, including efficiency mapping, thermal cycling, and stress testing.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to EMI, switching losses, and thermal performance.
- Ensure designs meet functional safety standards (ISO 26262) and automotive reliability requirements.
- Guide the team in prototyping, testing, and transitioning designs to production.
Technical / Desired Skills:
- Deep expertise in power electronics design, simulation, and validation for automotive applications.
- Proficiency with simulation tools like LTspice, PLECS, or MATLAB/Simulink for power stage analysis.
IT/Software skills required: MATLAB/Simulink, PLECS, LTspice, PCB Design tools, MS Office.

Education background -Essential: Bachelors degree in Electrical/Electronics/Power Electronics Engineering. A Masters degree is highly preferred.
