Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain firmware and embedded software for microcontrollers and embedded systems.
- Write, debug, and optimize C/C++ code for real-time applications.
- Design and implement device drivers and low-level software components.
- Work with RTOS (Real-Time Operating Systems) like FreeRTOS, Zephyr, or similar.
- Must have experience on ST/Renesas chips.
- Understanding of SOC chips related to BMS/ADAS.
- Must have experience in Hiring and team handling for 3-4 years.
- Budgeting and forecasting expected licenses, systems/tools.
- Perform unit testing, debugging, and troubleshooting of embedded systems.
- Optimize code for power efficiency and performance in resource-constrained environments.
- Work with communication protocols such as UART, SPI, I2C, CAN, Ethernet, or wireless technologies (BLE, Wi-Fi, Zigbee, LoRa).
- Collaborate with hardware engineers to define system requirements and debug hardware/software integration issues.
- Develop smart algorithms considering Automotive requirements and not conventional coding
Requirements:
- 8-12 years of experience in embedded systems development.
- Proficiency in C and C++ programming for embedded applications.
- Experience with microcontrollers (ARM Cortex, PIC, AVR, STM32, ESP32, etc.) .
- Knowledge of RTOS concepts and implementation .
- Familiarity with embedded development tools , such as Keil, IAR, GCC, or Segger Embedded Studio.
- Experience with debugging tools (JTAG, SWD, Logic Analyzers, Oscilloscopes).
- Strong understanding of hardware schematics and PCB designs .
- Hands-on experience with wireless communication protocols is a plus.
- Familiarity with IoT platforms, cloud integration, and security is an added advantage.
- Understanding of APN configurations and data handling
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a keen eye for detail.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with C, C++, Python or shell scripting for automation.
- Understanding of AI/ML for embedded systems is a plus.
- Experience with Linux-based embedded development (Yocto, Buildroot).
- Knowledge of functional safety standards like ISO 26262 (automotive) or IEC 61508 (industrial).
