About the Role
Calcutta Pilot Training Institute (CPTI) is seeking highly disciplined and experienced aviation professionals to join our faculty. We are exclusively inviting applications from retired Indian Air Force (IAF) Officers and Personnel Below Officer Rank (PBOR) to train and mentor the next generation of Commercial Pilot Licence (CPL) aspirants.
Key Responsibilities
The selected candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality classroom instruction and preparing cadets for DGCA CPL examinations and their future aviation careers.

Required Qualifications
Background
- Must be a retired Indian Air Force (IAF) Officer or Personnel Below Officer Rank (PBOR).
- Valid retirement/discharge documentation is mandatory.
Educational & Subject Expertise
Candidates should possess strong knowledge in one or more of the following:
- Air Regulations
- Aviation Meteorology
- Air Navigation
- Technical General
Experience
- Prior instructional or training experience in the Indian Air Force, defence establishments, or civil aviation training institutes is highly preferred.
Skills Required
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Strong leadership and mentoring abilities.
- Ability to explain complex technical concepts in a simple and effective manner.
- Passion for training and developing future commercial pilots.
