Role: Performance Engineer (Database expert- DB2 / Oracle / PostgrSQL) Banking and Financial Services
Location: Mumbai
Required Technical Skill Set
1. Strong proficiency in RDBMS and specially its usage in application context
2. Good understanding of system tables of the RDBMS Oracle /postgreSQL/ DB2 (UDB)
3. Hands-on experience with performance friendly queries and related trouble shooting
4. Hand on experience of Performance Tuning of Java Application processes / threads / memory etc
5. Experience in referring and analyzing database performance logs and recommending solutions
6. Experience in performance friendly design of Database layout
7. Experience in Database Management in Large volume production sites
Must Have:
Behavioral
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to work with cross-functional teams (Product, BA, Ops)
- Good communication and stakeholder interaction skills
Domain Preference
Banking / Financial Services (Core Banking, Payments, Digital Banking)
