Role & responsibilities

• Clinical & Lab Work: Handle all routine and special pathology investigations including Hematology, Histopathology, Cytology, and Clinical Pathology.
• Ensure timely and accurate reporting.Blood Bank Management: Oversee the functioning of Blood Bank including donor screening, blood grouping, cross-matching, component preparation, and maintaining NMC/NABH compliance.
• Academics: Take UG lectures, practicals, tutorials, and viva for MBBS students as per NMC guidelines.
• Administration: Manage departmental work, duty rosters of residents/JRs, quality control, and documentation for NMC inspections.
• Training: Provide on-the-job training and support to residents and lab technicians in case of diagnostic/reporting challenges.

Preferred candidate profile

Having experience in blood bank.
