- Role Overview/Job Responsibilities
We are seeking a hands-on Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to lead the architectural design and execution of our migration to Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI). You will be the primary technical expert responsible for moving legacy workloads into a modern, scalable cloud environment.
Key Responsibilities - Cloud Migration: Execute end-to-end migrations of on-premises workloads (Databases, Apps, and VMs) to OCI using tools like OCI Migration Cloud Service and RackWare.
- Infrastructure Design: Build and maintain OCI Virtual Cloud Networks (VCNs), Subnets, Security Lists, and FastConnect circuits.
- Optimization: Monitor cloud performance and implement cost-saving measures through right-sizing and automation.
- Security & Governance: Implement Identity and Access Management (IAM) policies and ensure compliance with industry security standards.
- OCI Expertise: 3+ years of experience specifically within Oracle Cloud Infrastructure .
- Migration Track Record: Proven experience migrating large-scale enterprise environments from on-prem or other CSPs (AWS/Azure) to OCI.
- Technical Stack: Strong proficiency in Terraform (IaC), Oracle Linux, and Database Cloud Services (DBCS/Exadata).
- Certifications: OCI Architect Professional or OCI Migration Specialist (preferred).
