Overview

OPA (Open Policy Agent) is an open source, general-purpose policy engine that enables unified, context-aware policy enforcement across the entire stack. OPA provides a high-level declarative language (Rego) that lets you specify policy as code and simple APIs to offload policy decision-making from your services. OPA is CNCF graduated project and is widely used for authorization, configuration, and compliance across various environments including Kubernetes, microservices, CI/CD pipelines, and more.
