Overview
Open Network for Digital Commerce (ONDC) is an initiative of the Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade (DPIIT), Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Government of India. It aims to democratize digital commerce by moving from a platform-centric model to an open network, enabling local businesses to be discovered and transact online. It seeks to create a level playing field for all businesses, especially small and micro enterprises, by enabling them to connect with buyers and sellers across various digital platforms.
