Since 1953, when its founder Olmes Ognibene built his first "workshop" for the assembly of tractors and agricultural machinery in Correggio (Reggio Emilia), Ognibene Power has come really a long way, becoming a globally recognized leader in the design, development, and manufacturing of hydraulic steering system components (actuators and steering units), expanding and consolidating its market presence in several countries. Today the Company is still family-owned but has become a multinational Corporation under the management of Claudio Ognibene.In 2003 Ognibene Power reached the highest worldwide market share in off-highway power steering actuators. Founded by Olmes Ognibene in the early 50s, the Company is privately owned by the Ognibene family and managed by his son Claudio Ognibene, President and CEO since 1975. Much has changed since then, but the passion which the family has always taken every decision has remained unvaried year over year. Proud of this milestone in its history, at the beginning of the new millennium, the Company has started undergoing a further major expansion, opening new manufacturing branches in Brazil, India and China, a logistics center in North Carolina (USA) and sales offices in Japan and Germany, adding members to its already big family that today can count on 1.160 employees.
