Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled and compassionate Ward Nurse to provide quality nursing care to patients, ensure smooth ward operations, and support doctors and the multidisciplinary healthcare team in delivering safe and effective patient care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide direct nursing care to patients as per prescribed treatment plans and hospital protocols.
  • Monitor and record patients vital signs, clinical condition, medication, and treatment progress.
  • Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely.
  • Assist doctors during clinical procedures and examinations.
  • Maintain accurate and timely nursing documentation and patient records.
  • Ensure proper handover of patient information during shift changes.
  • Coordinate with doctors, laboratory, pharmacy, housekeeping, and other support departments for patient care.
  • Educate patients and attendants regarding medication, procedures, discharge instructions, and general care.
  • Identify and promptly report any changes in the patient’s condition.
  • Follow infection-control practices, patient-safety standards, and hospital policies.
  • Maintain ward cleanliness, equipment readiness, and availability of required nursing supplies.
  • Handle emergency situations effectively and escalate concerns to the appropriate medical team.

Eligibility & Skills

  • B.Sc. Nursing / GNM from a recognized institution.
  • Valid KNC registration is mandatory.
  • 1–4 years of relevant clinical nursing experience preferred.
  • Experience in a hospital ward/medical-surgical setting will be an advantage.
  • Good clinical knowledge and patient-care skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in rotational shifts.
  • Good documentation and coordination skills.
  • Compassionate, responsible, and patient-focused approach.
