Socio-Economic Cause
Fishermen who cultivate Rohu, Katla and Carp fish in freshwater usually sell the fish but discard the scales haphazardly, thus causing smelly litter as they are not aware of the potential of ‘up-cycling’ this waste!
NMP has assured business generation for the fishermen community in India and today it works in tandem with governmental aquaculture organizations.
