MODULE LEAD - Python

Responsibilities 

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications, APIs, and microservices using Python.
• Build and deploy cloud-native applications on AWS using services such as Lambda, ECS/EKS, API Gateway, S3, DynamoDB, RDS, SQS/SNS, and Step Functions, Bedrock etc.
• Design, develop, and maintain AI-enabled applications by leveraging Large Language Models (LLMs) and Generative AI technologies.
• Integrate applications with AI platforms and services such as OpenAI, Anthropic Claude, Amazon Bedrock, and Google Gemini.
• Collaborate with product owners, architects, and cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
• Ensure application security, reliability, observability, and scalability in production environments.
• Develop automated testing frameworks and participate in CI/CD implementation and deployment automation.
• Conduct code reviews, enforce engineering best practices, and mentor junior developers.
• Troubleshoot and resolve application, cloud infrastructure in a timely manner.
• Monitor and improve application performance, cloud resource utilization. 

What You Will Need 

• Strong programming skills using Python.
• 7+ years of software development experience using Python.
• Strong experience building REST APIs and microservices using frameworks such as FastAPI, Flask, or Django.
• Hands-on experience developing and deploying applications on AWS using services such as Lambda, ECS/EKS, API Gateway, S3, DynamoDB, RDS, SQS/SNS, IAM, CloudWatch, and Secrets Manager.
• Practical experience building AI-powered applications, products, or enterprise solutions.
• Experience working with Generative AI technologies, LLMs, prompt engineering, and AI application development.
• Strong understanding of software architecture, distributed systems, and cloud-native design principles.
• Experience with relational and NoSQL databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, DynamoDB, MongoDB, or similar technologies.
• Good to have hands-on experience with frameworks such as LangChain, LangGraph, LlamaIndex, and Model Context Protocol (MCP).
• Good to have experience implementing Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), vector databases, embeddings, and semantic search solutions.
• Familiarity with containerization and orchestration technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience with version control systems (Git) and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with observability and monitoring tools.
• Ability to mentor junior developers and provide technical leadership.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills. 

Education and Experience 

• Bachelor?s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
• 7+ years of software development experience using Python.
• 3+ years of experience building and deploying cloud-native applications on AWS. 

Hands-on experience designing and delivering production-grade AI-enabled applications and products.
