Spark Minda, Ashok Minda Group, India and Silca S.p.A of Italy, (dormakaba Group, Switzerland) - World leaders in key cutting solution join hands in 2006 Minda Silca Engineering Group was formed after a Joint Venture of US $545 million (Rs. 3000 Crores) between renowned Minda Group of India and Silca S.p.A. of Italy (a member of dormakaba group which has a turnover of 2.1 Billlion CHF). Silca S.p.A., Italy is world’s leaders in key blank, key cutting machine and transponder key production where as Minda group is an Indian major in automobile O.E.M. with 35 plants located India, Germany, Indonesia, Poland, Czech Republic, Vietnam, Japan, and Uzbekistan. The Group also has several JVs with leading companies from USA, Japan, Germany, France, Italy, and Switzerland. Equipped with the most sophisticated technologies, Minda Silca Engineering Group is involved into the business of providing solutions to all type of keys and key cutting machines for both O.E.M. (Original Equipment Manufacturer) and after markets and is the only dedicated unit in India for the purpose.
