Job Description

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations in OPD, ICU, and emergency settings to diagnose and manage acute and chronic medical conditions.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, including medication management, diagnostic testing, and referral coordination.
  • Provide immediate and effective medical intervention in emergency situations, ensuring rapid assessment and stabilization of critically ill patients.
  • Lead and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in ICU settings, overseeing ventilator management, hemodynamic monitoring, and critical care protocols.
  • Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant medical records in accordance with hospital and regulatory standards.
  • Participate in on-call rotations and emergency response teams to ensure 24/7 coverage and continuity of care.
  • Contribute to clinical audits, quality improvement initiatives, and adherence to evidence-based medicine practices.
  • Mentor junior medical staff, residents, and medical students in clinical decision-making and procedural skills.
  • Stay current with advancements in internal medicine, critical care, and emergency medicine through continuous professional development.
Requirements:
  • MBBS degree with a postgraduate qualification in Medicine (MD/DM or equivalent) from a recognized institution.
  • Minimum of 3 years of post-qualification clinical experience in internal medicine with demonstrated expertise in OPD, ICU, and emergency care.
  • Valid registration with the Medical Council of India (or equivalent) and a clean professional record.
  • Proven ability to manage complex medical cases under pressure in high-stress environments.
  • Strong clinical acumen in areas such as respiratory failure, sepsis, cardiac emergencies, and multi-organ dysfunction.
  • Proficiency in advanced life support (ACLS), basic and advanced airway management, and critical care procedures.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively in team-based settings.
  • Commitment to patient safety, ethical practice, and continuous learning.
  • Willingness to participate in on-call duties and shift rotations as required.
