Media and Entertainment Skill Council
Overview
The Media & Entertainment Skills Council (MESC) is a Sector Skills Council (SSC) established by the National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC) under the aegis of the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship (MSDE), Government of India. MESC is responsible for developing occupational standards, curriculum, and assessment frameworks for various job roles in the media and entertainment industry in India. It also focuses on skill gap analysis, training, and certification to enhance the employability of individuals in the sector.
