Job Description
Job Summary:
Responsible for the upkeep, repair, and preventive maintenance of all mechanical systems and machinery to ensure efficient and safe operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct preventive and breakdown maintenance of mechanical parts (e.g., gearboxes, pumps, conveyors, motors, mold movements, etc.)
Diagnose and rectify mechanical faults and abnormal vibrations
Perform lubrication, alignment, and replacement of bearings, belts, seals
Work on hydraulic and pneumatic systems troubleshoot leaks, pressure drops, or component failures
Support production in tool/mold changeovers and mechanical adjustments
Ensure correct use and upkeep of tools, lifting equipment, and mechanical workshop area
Qualifications:
ITI / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
2 5 years experience in mechanical maintenance, preferably in blow/injection molding or industrial packaging
Skills:
Reading mechanical drawings
Familiarity with hydraulic/pneumatic systems
Basic welding/fabrication knowledge preferred
Hands-on repair capability
