Involved in developing marketing campaigns to promote a service, product, event or campaign. The focus can be on selling a product, a service or raising awareness of an issue that affects the public.
May require a bachelor's degree in a related area and 0-3 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Has knowledge of standard concepts, practices and procedures within a particular field. Rely on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. A certain degree of creativity and latitude required.
Develop a marketing strategy in accordance with the overall company goals and vision.
Be a vital force in the creation and distribution of all varieties of marketing materials.
Monitoring competitor activity and generating leads for products and services.
Establish beneficial pricing strategies.
