Job Title: Lead GSH HR Operations

Location: Mumbai Region Department: Human Resources

Reports To: Zonal HR Head / Regional HRBP

Role Overview:

As the Lead for GSH Operations in Patna region, you will be the strategic HR partner for Flipkart’s Quick Commerce. This role demands a strong focus on managing a large blue-collar workforce, ensuring compliance with labor laws, and driving people-centric initiatives across delivery hubs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • HR Business Partnership: Serve as the HR lead for Fulfilment Centre operations, supporting E2E lifecycle of Bluecollar workforce.
  • Blue-Collar Workforce Management: Oversee the end-to-end HR lifecycle for warehouse. Ensure effective onboarding, grievance redressal, engagement, and retention strategies tailored to this workforce segment.
  • Compliance & Statutory Governance: Ensure 100% compliance with labor laws (ESIC, PF, CLRA, Shops & Establishments Act, etc.) for both Flipkart and partner-managed employees. Conduct audits, manage documentation, and liaise with legal and compliance teams.
  • Workforce Planning & Deployment: Collaborate with operations and staffing partners to forecast manpower needs and ensure timely deployment across delivery hubs.
  • Employee Engagement & Culture Building: Design and implement engagement programs that resonate with the blue-collar workforce. Promote Flipkart’s values and foster a culture of inclusion and performance.
  • Performance & Productivity Management: Monitor productivity metrics, support performance improvement plans, and recognize high performers across the field teams.
  • Vendor & Partner HR Coordination: Manage third-party staffing partners to ensure SLAs are met, compliance is maintained, and associate welfare is prioritized.
  • HR Operations & Analytics: Maintain accurate HRIS data, generate dashboards, and provide insights to leadership for strategic decision-making.

Key Requirements:

  • MBA/PGDM in HR from a reputed institute
  • 6–10 years of HR experience, preferably in logistics, e-commerce, or high-volume blue-collar environments
  • Strong knowledge of labor laws and compliance frameworks in Maharashtra
  • Proven experience managing large-scale blue-collar operations
  • Excellent interpersonal, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills
  • Willingness to travel extensively across the Mumbai region
